It has been 6,000 to 8,000 years since humans began cultivating the olive tree. Indeed, our species has enjoyed olives since prehistoric times. The Mediterranean food culture centered around olives has even been registered as an Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.
In addition, olive oil is said to be humankind’s first beauty oil as well as having been used for medicinal purposes. So the tree has played a very important role in both beauty and health.
At UNION, we have put a lot of emphasis on olive trees and would like to propose an enriched living style that includes olive wood..
